Each EPIC Golf Cart comes with a 3-year manufacturer’s limited warranty, and an 8-year warranty on ECO Lithium Batteries (3 years full replacement value, and 5 years prorated).

ICON® EV (Manufacturer) warrants each EPIC Carts™ branded golf cart sold by EPIC Carts, ICON EV, or any of its authorized dealers, to be free of defects for a determined period from the date of sale. Within the warranty time frame, subject to the issues listed below, EPIC Carts™ will repair or replace parts of the golf cart if the components in question are defective in materials or workmanship.

WHAT IS THE DURATION OF MY EPIC Carts WARRANTY?

** 2023 Models & Newer **

ICON EV (Manufacturer) warrants each EPIC Carts branded golf cart sold by EPIC Carts, ICON EV, or any of its authorized dealers or distributors for a period of 3 years from the date of sale. AGM Batteries are warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of sale. Eco Lithium Batteries are warranted for 8-10 years from the date of sale (3-5 years full replacement value, and 5 years prorated depending on the model.)

ICON EV (Manufacturer) warrants each EPIC Carts branded golf cart sold by EPIC Carts, ICON EV, or any of its authorized dealers or distributors for a period of 2 years from the date of sale.

I PURCHASED MY CART FROM COSTCO & NEED SERVICE

If you have purchased a Golf Cart from Costco – please contact your dealer for any warranty and/or maintenance issues.

IS MY WINDSHIELD COVERED UNDER WARRANTY?

Yes. Manufacturing defects of your windshield are covered. Windshield repair/replacement is not covered when damage is a result of breakage from road debris or a strike from an outside source, or if it has sustained damage due to misuse, abuse, or excessive wear & tear.

ARE MY BATTERIES COVERED UNDER THE 2-YEAR OR 8-YEAR WARRANTY?

All AGM batteries that come in your new EPIC Cart will be covered for a period of 2 years. All ECO Battery Lithium Batteries will be covered for 8 years (3 years full replacement value, and 5 years prorated.)*

Exclusions for coverage would include the following:

  • Lack of maintenance
  • Undercharging the cart battery regularly
  • Battery failure due to a third party outside electrical source or wiring issue
  • Tampering with the charger or charger algorithms

*PLEASE NOTE* ICON’s proprietary ECO Battery is the ONLY authorized Lithium Battery to be installed on an EPIC Cart. No other battery is an ICON authorized battery, and ICON EV LLC does not offer a battery warranty for any other battery.

CAN I HAVE ANOTHER DEALER WORK ON MY CART?

Yes. Any authorized EPIC golf cart dealer can perform warranty work on your cart, however, your original dealer is responsible for warranty work after the sale. If you decide to get warranty work done outside of the dealer who sold you your cart, the parts will be supplied to the non-selling dealer from the Manufacturer, however, the non-selling dealer may or may not charge labor. Work performed outside of an authorized EPIC dealer or EPIC Service Factory Center may void the Limited Warranty.

WILL THE MANUFACTURER PAY TO TRANSPORT MY CART TO THE DEALER FOR WARRANTY WORK?

No. Any and all expenses incurred in transporting the vehicle to and from EPIC or an authorized dealer will be the sole responsibility of the cart owner unless otherwise noted by the service provider.

WILL ADDING ACCESSORIES TO MY CART VOID MY WARRANTY?

No. The addition of accessories is welcomed and encouraged. Added accessories will only interfere with warranty coverage when that accessory is directly related to the failed component. All accessories must only be installed by an authorized EPIC golf cart Dealer.
