AN EPIC STORY
As mentioned before, EPIC was founded over a decade ago by a dealer, and cultivated for the dealer. Founder Sean Heatley owned a golf cart dealership but was having difficulty securing brands to offer in his inventory line-up due to territory restrictions.
Additionally, he was frustrated by the repetitive process of selling bare-bones carts, then individually outfitting them after sale with what often were the same accessories and upgrades all customers desired. Heatley realized that the only way to significantly expand his business was to create his own brand, and to distribute it to other dealers.
“EPIC makes the dealer’s life easy and exceeds the customers’ expectations every time,” said Heatley. Over time, Heatley partnered with Roy Williams, and together they got to work perfecting the luxury brand EPIC. “I am ecstatic to have partnered with Roy, (who also founded ICON EV), to take our brand from a mom-and-pop story to a national narrative!” added Heatley.
