This standout custom EPIC E40FX refuses to remain in the shadows. With a fully-coordinated palette of blue, black, and metallic silver accents, The Captain is a tribute to Captain Spiffy’s signature colors. From there, the color journey begins with a custom (never been done before) space blue body paint with silver and rainbow flake throughout.

The space blue is prominently featured on the front cowl, midcap, rear cowl, and even on the automotive-style dash. Next, every bit of metal is powder-coated in color-matched midnight black with silver flake. This includes front supports, rear supports, roof supports, brush guard, and 3-point seatbelt harnesses. Captain Spiffy rounded out the color scheme by color-matching the fenders, bumpers, and rocker-panels to the wheels. The front and rear bumpers feature rhino-lining and the fenders and rocker panels boast a beautiful (and durable) gloss coat.

Even the smallest details matter. Custom needle-stitched embroidery adapts the color throughout the cabin, and Alcantara-marine vinyl seating elevate this build from every angle. Of course, the headlights, rear lights, reflectors, and windshield are all “smoked out” with a smoke-gray tint. They don’t illuminate until the lights are turned on, which adds to The Captain’s mystique and appeal.

Synched SoundExtreme by EcoXGear LEDs illuminate the wheel wells, underbody, and interior with factory-level integration. Even the rear battery compartment and the audio subwoofer housing are brightly illuminated with SoundExtreme lighting, which are perfectly synched to the main lighting system. Additional features enhance the visual aesthetics even further with four foot whips, rock lights, and of course the Modz Gladiator and X-Comp wheels, a fitting final touch with an off-the-charts wow-factor.

Powered by a 70V/105Ah lithium Eco Battery system, this EPIC E40FX delivers confident, high-output performance. Eco Battery engineers worked closely with Captain Spiffy to fine-tune the high-voltage integration, unlocking impressive power and responsiveness.

But why move the battery from the original front battery compartment to the rear trunk? Simple… It’s all about the audio.

By relocating the lithium 70V Eco Battery, Captain Spiffy improved balance and freed up valuable space. That space now houses the world’s largest subwoofer ever installed in a golf cart. The 15-inch Sundown Audio Masterclass hybrid high-performance subwoofer is fully enclosed under the front seat. The location is optimal because it hollows out the sound for a better listening experience. It runs off a 7,000-watt peak power Sundown Audio Class D amplifier. The sound system also features four 6.5-inch high performance SoundExtreme and Cicada coaxle speakers, channeling a 1600-watt Sundown Audio Class AB amplifier. This audio system produces a mind-blowing 300 Amp, while a traditional golf cart speaker audio system produces only 20-25 Amp.

In total, this audio system produces an astonishing 8,600 watts. To put that in perspective, it exceeds the electrical output of many homes. And all 8,600 watts are powered by the single 70V lithium Eco Battery.
